We reached into the archives and pulled out the low-profile, water-friendly Aqua Turf. The stretchy upper fits like a glove, giving you a barefoot feel while acting as a barrier. As for traction, it has a full rubber outsole for secure grip no matter the environment.

Stretchy upper hugs the foot to help minimize drag in water.
Neoprene-like collar allows for ease of entry and a sock-like fit.
Internal foam strobel provides just the right amount of cushioning.
